Alnwick Garden Party

Celebrating 100 years of Reader Ministry within the Diocese, and kicking off the Diocesan 125th Anniversary celebrations which will be in full swing next year, Alnwick Garden hosted the Diocesan Garden Party on Saturday 24th June.

Over a thousand people from around the diocese were at the party, enjoying the picnic and the variety of events throughout the day which included music, Godly Play, and bookstalls, along with an opportunity to visit the fine Gardens.

The day was rounded off by an open-air Act of Worship which included contemporary and more traditional elements from the 125 years of the diocese. The event was a great success and hopefully points to a great year of celebrations ahead.
