What is Newcastle Central Deanery?

Newcastle Central Deanery is a group of parishes within the Church of England's Diocese of Newcastle who work together in the City to bring the Good News of Christ to every part of our area.

There are a variety of churches in the Deanery, large and small, from different backgrounds and with different styles, but we are all part of the Anglican tradition and seek to support each other in ministering to the people of Newcastle upon Tyne.

The different sections of this website will tell you more about the individual parishes within the deanery, including the patterns of worship and location of nearby churches, as well as giving you a good idea of what's going on with news and events.
